So the moon decided to get between us and the sun…

So we went for a walk to the beach to get a better view. We weren’t the only ones there.

Our contraption to see it without looking directly at the sun.

That’s not how to get home from vacation.

It became time to get rid of this car. We just waited a bit too long. By breaking down (malfunctioning brakes) just outside of Kolding. We did finally get rid of it at the end of October. Our “new” car is a 7-seater.

The closest National park to us, Söderåsens Nationalpark with the lake at Skäralid. This is a very popular tourist destination, especially during spring when the beech leave are this light green colour.

This might be the last time our place it blessed with this beautiful cherry tree. It has already lost 1/3 of its crown, (on the backside facing our house), and it is rotten inside. So now it is scheduled to come down any day with the help of a friend.

Good for the electricity production, sad for for the nice old tree.

The view of the setting sun before the leaves block it in late spring is beautiful. Like lake and sky is burning. (With matching porchlight on the neighbours house).

Some days are just this calm. But even calm days can hide a frightening reality. Like the high water submerging the areas around the lake. It is beautiful until you realise the calm water still is in the house. (Not our house, just our neighbours).
